Canada Dagbon Gbewaa Traditional and Cultural Foundation was officially launched on Jun 2024 in Vancouver British Columbia to fundamentally bring together all Naa Gbewaa families across Canada. Since then we have reached out to all concerned and sympathizers sons and daughters of Naa Gbewaa-Dagbon Families, from coast to coast to project and show case our culture, traditions, and to uplift the sprites and development of northern Ghana

Objectives

1. To preserve, promote, and revitalize the cultural heritage and traditions of our community.
2. To foster appreciation and respect for cultural diversity among members and the wider society.
3. To serve as a platform for the expression and celebration of indigenous and traditional arts, music, dance, and language.
4. To strengthen the identity and unity of the group through cultural education and practice.
5. To document and safeguard traditional knowledge, values, and practices for future generations.
6. ⁠To organize cultural events, festivals, and performances that showcase traditional arts and customs.
7. To conduct workshops, lectures, and seminars that promote understanding of cultural history and heritage.
8. To collaborate with schools, local governments, and other organizations in promoting cultural awareness programs.
9. To provide training and mentorship for youth in traditional crafts, songs, dances, and rituals.
